Graduate Program of ISI Yogyakarta convening annual agenda ICAPAS (International Conference for Asia Pacific Studies) which this time entering its fourth year. The conference theme is “Reconceptualizing Art Research” by subtopic art as research process, creating arts using research, and artistic procedure for research. This activity was held on 18-19 October 2016 at the Hotel Harper Aston Jl. Mangkubumi 52 Yogyakarta.
This conference was officially opened by Rector ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M. Hum. Prof. Frans de Ruiter (Leiden University) and Professor Samuel Leong (Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts) as Keynote Speaker giving his presentation about artistic research. Furthermore, the presentation of Dr. Yoshei Itani (Tokyo University of the Arts), Dr. Sal Murgiyanto (Indonesia), Prof. Barbara Bolt (Victorian College of the Arts, UNIMELB), and Prof. Earl Jackson (National chiao Tung University).
